What is the NCLB Act?

The No Child Left Behind act is an act created to keep all students in every school system up to par academically. It basically speaks for itself with its name. The Act does anything at all possible to provide every child in America with passing letter grades. The Act has expectations every school and student must meet to pass. If a school does not meet certain requirements for so many years, the government will then take over the school and make sure each and every student is passing classes. As you can see this act truly is made to pass every student in the United States of America. Although the Act is still young and has created a large amount of controversy, President Bush believes the act to be one of the greatest steps for the education system in our country.
